Boy Or Girl
"They say I'm a good boy." Said the tired big Dog.
"All because of my size and how fast I can jog!"
"They say what a pretty lady." Said the stretching Cat.
"All because I'm so sleek and I love to nap!"
"Men think I'm like them!" Said the caring Ape,
"All because of my muscles that give me this shape!"
"Women relate to me!" Said the hopping Robin,
"Is it because I'm petite and my legs so thin?"
The animals got together, mumbled and thought,
With a bright idea that together they got!
At once they said "It would be a much better World,
If people could ask 'Are you a boy or a girl?' "
"Though sometimes its neither!" said the tiny Snail.
"And sometimes its both!" Said the clown fish with a happy fin flail.
Everything is so intersting on this Planet Earth.
We're all so interesting, and all so full of worth!
So please remember, all the animals who give you such joy.
When someone assumes, its a girl or a boy!
